so when they were upgrading the copper wires to fibre optics right, the liberals took bribes from Rio Tinto, Gina Rinehart, Rupert Murdoch, etc. in exchange for using new copper wires to replace the old copper wires instead of using fibre optics, because fibre optic would have been 10% of the cost so the national broadband network was 80 billion dollars over budget because of that, which the liberals used as justification to privatised the NBN.
anyway I'm getting sidetracked,
so when they replaced the old copper wires with new copper wires they never bothered to compact and mound the trenches, so every time it rains they fill with water and the internet stops working.
