We're familiar with the iconic "moon buggy" that NASA astronauts drove during the Apollo lunar missions. NASA is planning to include unpressurized lunar rovers with its upcoming human missions to the Moon, starting with Artemis V. NASA has selected three companies to supply rover capabilities: Intuitive Machines, Lunar Outpost, and Venturi Astrolab. These companies will use a prototype lunar rover testbed to demonstrate their capabilities for carrying crew and payload.
