I woke up at daylight this morning + saw 2 yearling deer drinking from our pond. I was treated to 5 minutes of their company before they scampered across our yard into the woods. I'm hoping that little piece of serenity will bode well for the day.

I've been lucky to have the last 2 days to stay home and wrap my head around what lies ahead. I feel a little like it's New Year's. Time to set new intentions, establish new habits that will carry me forward with resolve.
