Has there been studies on effective naming for products to make them more likely to succeed? For software, mostly. One pattern I've noticed is to derive your name from another very well known name or word. That seems to work okay.
One thing I know is to do exactly the opposite of what all the FOSS people do to name things. (or Elon Musk)
