Through our conversations I'm beginning to realize that corruption and competence are truly antonyms. You can not be corrupt and competent at the same time. Competence requires that you understand the full picture of what it is you are doing. If any element of it is unethical, then it is detrimental to your success. You can see exactly how and where it fails. To be corrupt, you *have* to have a lack of competence.
