I feel like this should be a standard courtesy in all homes. You supply your guests soap, towels, and toilet paper; keeping a few feminine hygiene products under the guest sink should be a given.

I've been doing this for as long as I've had a guest bathroom. It has come in handy on multiple occasions, both for their traditional purposes but also for other things (turns out tampons are great for bloody noses).

I've had a number of guests thank me for doing that... and I'm sure plenty of others who wanted to keep it private but were also grateful, based on rate of depletion. You do need to periodically check to make sure they're still stocked - they deplete faster than you'd expect.

Also, location may need to vary if you have cats who can open cabinets, or you'll find shredded cotton all over the house for weeks.
