On Mossy Ground
I took this photo a while back and at first, i didn't like it, but I didn't delete it either. Sometimes, you just need to see things a certain way. This morning, I was intrigued by the contrast between the butterfly and the mossy ground. The title is a take on the movie "On Golden Pond," I don't know why, it popped into my head ... thoughts, what are you going to do? Anyway, this butterfly is a red-spotted purple (Limenitis arthemis).
You know, the photographs that I post here are not quite a vivid as the same photographs that I post at my pixel's gallery, because here, I reduce the size of the photos and usually make a slight reduction in the quality of the photos to make them easier to load.
