Fantastic. Your area apparently progressive/smart. I live in a hurricane area. Got a Jackery solar pack with panels. It certainly won't power AC, but will provide fans, lights, phone, radio, small tv (have outside antenna), used wisely. We lose all our refrigerated/frozen food. Last storm, Aug 2021, power was out 6 days, in summer heat. Power poles snapped all over. Therein lies our problem. They refuse to harden the grid AND they add a storm surcharge to our bills to pay for fixing. Would love whole house solar, but cost too prohibitive-- we're not there yet.
