Among my many recent activities was a visit from these seven little guys, the 12-week-old grandchildren of Panda, my 8-year-old Basset Hound. The owner of Panda's daughter, Adelaide (also Pippin's sister), drove more than 200 miles (350 km) with the pups to bring them to my back garden for me to get a chance to see them. And after two hours romping around the garden (with a brief respite in this exercise pen), the pups made the return journey home.
