every "edgy satire" organization traces it's origin back to 80s/90s social comfort and when that finally definitively ended in the first obama term (financial collapse, smartphone panopticon) they all faced the ultimatum of join a culture team or face ruin. some held out longer than others, but by now the stragglers have all been mopped up.
