"content": "The stock in Utah is probably slightly different. It's most certainly generational trauma. I have to find the extract of a memoir from the early Utah founding I ran into once, which talks about how hungry people were there after the crickets ate all their crops (i.e. they were boiling leather for soup)... although, surprisingly, apparently no obvious starving to death. I mean, it's not a bad thing to have some emergency prep as long as it's stuff you'll eat (better it gets cycled through your normal eating, however).",
