I have to admit, sometimes the French aren’t entirely horrible.
Nova just released a documentary on the Eiffel Tower and I learned that not only did Eiffel create the support structure for the Statue of Liberty a few years earlier, but his techniques would make modern skyscrapers possible.
A really neat hour long exploration of how the Tower came about.
