Adam’s book does vitally important work along two lines, I think—one is concisely collecting + connecting otherwise thinly and inaccessibly documented narratives of episodes of revolutionary mutual care; the other is building from/on those examples toward a *durable and embodied* model of long mutual aid for the permanent emergency. Either would be worth the price of admission, getting both is a real and much-needed gift.
