Seeing the war I'm the Arab world is expanding is giving me a huge amount of dread. I've seen this before.
The last decade that the Arab world hasn't seen war with an external force was in the 1900-1910; yes, Israel is an external force planted by Europeans, and they account for half of these decades. Heck, they had a war with at least one Arab country in every decades since 1948 except the 90s, during which the first Palestinian Intifada was hot and running. So even in the 90s they were fighting Arabs. Think about that.
Arabs haven't had their full autonomy since pre-Ottoman era. Think about that.
Why is that, I wonder? Yes, we have ourselves to blame for a lot of it, but every power on earth wants a piece of this land. Whenever they think they got things right, they call it peace. Peace on everyone else's terms. Never ours.
الله المستعان.
