I still remember one year for a Winter Classic NHL game, they had Hinder play the "halftime" (second int maybe?) concert. They had one hit at the time, "Lips of an Angel". And you bet they played their heart out. Crowd went dead silent, most of them went to get beers while some sappy 2000s power ballad rang out over the PA speakers.
I thought that was the most "out of touch" a live event would ever be. But fuck me if The Olympic Committee didn't enter the chat shortly after that.
