Sounds like Monero is more able to improve and adapt to threats
The distinction between soft and hard forks narrative that is always espoused is just a nice fantasy in practice i.e. Bitcoin Core doesn't typically fix CVEs for older versions of Bitcoin.
Monero only exists in the first place because the community split off from previous shady devs. The free market chose the Monero fork. Same thing would happen if current devs weren't in consensus with it's users.
