Some time today I am making Burhanpuri Dal, using whole urad dal. The recipe is from #Tiffin by #SonalVed, and I'll make it in the Instant Pot. Dal has been soaking overnight. Presumably the recipe is from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh.

Surprisingly I can't find a similar recipe online to share with you (there is one on FB if you care to search). Youtube has some videos but using different dals. I suspect whole urad is the traditional one tho (fill me in if you know).
