Kinda sad ending to #myday #today. Was out to tend to the remaining garden and saw that the eggplant is flourishing better #today than it has all season. Big n leafy with lots of flowers n little eggplants forming and all just in time for the first real frost in a few days. 🫤
If I could n had room for the thing, I'd move it indoors into some south facing window to save the sprouting thing. But I don't. So, sadly, I'm thinking it's end is near. Of course, I will try to cover it and protect it. But, in the end, its life is over soon. Sad. Sad indeed. And I won't even get to eat anymore of its fruit. 😟
The same fate awaits the tomatoes, too. But at least I can pick the little green things and see em ripen and be sandwich bound. 😋
