Also agree on Signal vs WhatsApp, I use both and WhatsApp has more polish in a lot of areas. Also agree that WhatsApp's UI is too complicated. At its core it's a messenger and that should be clearer. I still think more users will find its settings before they find Messages 😜.

That said, I definitely think more granular notification options are *long* overdue for Messages.
