The more people start to accept/use lightning now, the less issues people will have once cash is gone and cbdcs will be their only option. What will people do? Either accept every transaction they do is being tracked, and potentially programmed (up to the point that a central party can deny it), or they barter like in the old ages, or they use an alternative digital hard money that is controlled by no one.
