Well, do we need (want) to onboard everybody into selfcustody? Only if we want to get rid of fiat, right? else there are ETFs and goverments out there to do the first part (reserve & store of value). Its not about being pesimistic but realistic. Human nature is to act submitted, not free. Only a few can escape.
