Yeah to be fair though, houses don't usually burn down lol. Over here on the east coast, I think the median home was built in the 1960s. How long do you want a house to last? It will eventually need so much work it's better off knocking it down and starting over. Anyone whose lived in an older house (1970s or older) knows that they kind of just suck, not built with much quality and eventually fall apart. Inflation has just priced us back into these markets to keep these houses around.
