I searched "elastic" on duckduckgo, because I wanted to know more about the material. I thought I'd get the definition, the Wikipedia article, maybe some "what is elastic" explainer articles/blogs.

Top results were for companies with elastic in the name.
Check google, top result (that took my whole screen with links to subpages) is some AI tech company.
Bing at least had the definition on the side, but otherwise the same companies.

Internet search is just demonstrably worse than it used to be.
