After the power outage, the Hue hub is decisively not advertising itself on _matter._tcp. The MDNS clearly works because it can advertise the _hap._tcp (the homekit binding), but it was tied up into my ecosystem with matter.

I'm reaching the "My Disappointment Is Immeasurable And My Day Is Ruined" levels, because if I have to spend the whole day readjusting ALL the lights in the house and ALL the switches from scratch I might get very sad and go buy a bunch of nanoleafs instead and be done with Hue ecosystem.

Or just get smart switches and be done with this smart home lighting BS altogether.
