Ok, so I know it doesn't matter anyway, but on Ordinals being broken...
-Ordinals is the Satoshi numbering system.
-Inscriptions are the jpegs that take a file on the blockchain and through some voodoo say it's linked to one of those specific numbered Satoshis (ordinals) and therefore the "ownable." (The Satoshi is, even though the file is on everyone's blockchain.)
I am saying this because the fact that people use this interchangeably confused what supertestnet's bug broke. The **ordinals** system is only a way of looking at things. Like... when I look at segments of a shell, I will number them from the inside spiraling out. There is no code involved in it. So, it cannot break. What he did break was the **inscriptions** numbering system. Like "my picture of a dickbutt WAS the 69420th jpeg inscriptions ever made, now its the 69421th, and not worth as much." Not as big as a deal, but still funny. In fact this system once broke by 200 before (doubling a span of 200). (And that was a total shitshow) That time they solved it kinda like misprint dollar bills (100, 100*, 101, 101*...)
Anyway, sorry to bore, but it happened to most of the Bitcoin-only community, due to calling everything ordinals.
