Today we claimed the Lachenstock (almost).
We started early and climbed at the end of lake Wägital a quite steep hiking path with our skis. There were surprisingly many others on their skies this early, but most of them went up to Redertenstock. So after some time we were all alone and struggled a little bit with extremely steep tiny valleys which caused some detours. We ascended a nameless summit just north of the Lachenstock. Less wind and a promising descent. The way back was also adventurous. I got attracted by an untouched creek which sides became deeper and steeper. At the end I needed to shoulder my skis and climb out of there.
All in all a absolutely great and lovely landscape.
