When the politic is differentiated between two sides, the politicians and movements on one given side tend to disregard the views of anyone they perceive to be on the "other side." A progressive won't listen to anyone who they don't consider progressive. A conservative won't listen to anyone they don't consider conservative. At least, this holds in general.
So, if a bitcoiner is progressive, it's that bitcoiner that has the best chance of reaching other progressives. If a bitcoiner is conservative, it's that bitcoiner has the best chance of reaching other conservatives.
If a bitcoiner is libertarian all of the other libertarians, whether they agree or disagree will start a fight. I'm a libertarian. Libertarians are weird even if or philosophy makes sense.
Anyway, I agree, LynAlden (npub1a2c…w83a), it's heartening to see left or progressive bitcoiners jumping in to persuade their own in the language that pay off the political spectrum uses. Without them, moving the Overton Window toward bitcoin acceptance would be far more difficult.
