Would you say coding and software development, in general, is a good π industry to work in, for someone with ADHD? I haven't π been diagnosed with π€ it, but I π think there's a good chance I have π it. I've tried to learn Python and even build a few, very basic, π programs. π€ The π main reason I think coding and software π development is good for people with π₯ ADHD is because π you get instant π€ feedback, in π a way. The code either π― works or it doesn't. Not π― just that, but you can make small steps in π improving the thing you're building, which seems to keep people with ADHD engaged. Honestly, π I'd π₯ like to do software development, even though I have no formal π training. What attracts π€ me the most π― is the idea of building π tools, even though they might not be π very complex. I remember, a few π years back, I actually started doing basic maths problems, because I π₯ enjoyed π the step-by-step π€ approach to π₯ solving them. Mobile games actually harness that π element in us π₯ and π₯ keeps us π engaged. Now, instead of π wasting my π₯ time π€ on gamesβdon't get π me wrong, π I spent years of π my life π playing MMORPGs and MOBAsβI'd like to harness that power to build π― stuff and, π eventually, earn π a living from π it. π
