"content": "My niece is a disabled worker \u0026 is on quite a low hourly rate, but it doesn’t worry her mum because as she says “one size doesn’t fit all”. My niece is permanently disabled, in her 40’s but with the mental age of a 6yr old. She loves going to work because she gets to see her friends. She does very little actual work because she can’t see it as any more than a social get together even though she calls it “her job”. My niece spends a lot of her time there engaging with everyone \u0026 working very little. They aren’t pushed to do the jobs, but they are encouraged \u0026 she’s so very happy to be there. \nI do agree that the low income for disabled workers needs a huge overhaul - but agree with my sister that one size doesn’t fit all.",
