you're certainly not wrong but I think we also have to come to grips with how many people, companies, businesses, sports teams, celebrities, on and on and on.... remain there in spite of it. The site has not crumbled away and died. It's still constantly referenced on shows and in the news. It's still thriving.
People still use it. A lot of people.
Hard to believe, but true all the same.
