Boiling hot take for some: it IS very important to know the wider context around almost any event - and that is *not* some sort of "not believing the victims" or "is this one image not enough, what is wrong with you"

It is important because it helps you spot false info/misleading framing. It is important because the context almost always makes for more empathy or a more correct understanding - *even if* the situation is nuanced

and if it doesn't, that's a problem we need to address
