I had a 1 on 1 Teams call with my new boss last week. He flew into the job site from Canada and now lives out there but I'm in Florida. When he asked me about where I live, I had to explain what my previous boss and I talked about when she brought me on, that I don't fly and there was no expectation for me to travel to the site. He was more understanding than expected. We talked about how reasonable it is to not get on a plane, actually, and he even volunteered the point about helicopters flying into you and killing everyone. It's like the travel tone has shifted.
