A hill I'm willing to die on:
Commercial seed backup solutions (expensive metal plates) are not only a waste of money, but they're bad at their job
All 24 words for a seed should not be kept in a single location. Safu ninja/DIY solutions are easily adaptable to m-of-n solutions.
To this end: SeedSigner is overhyped and over-recommended. Using off the shelf hardware is great. Encouraging people to keep a QR code of their seed at home is not great.
I don't see where SeedSigner fits into a well architected cold-warm-hot storage system.
I don't like to focus on negative aspects of projects, I'd much rather hype alternatives that get me excited, but in this case I continuously get the impression that people misunderstand the risk/benefit profiles and the record needs to be corrected
