My interview went extremely well -- if I'm hired, I'll be working full remote as the *first* full-time developer at this 20-something person IT company designing in-house automation tools and integrations. Coming from my current role with thousands of devs working concurrently on a monorepo about 3x the size of the linux kernel source tree, that sounds so wonderful and exciting. Like, I get to just choose my own tooling and deployment pipeline and greenfield a bunch of new code. Amazing.
