To be honest, they're the same problems we've always had. We used to have Peyote and Ergot, and we've had rape as a weapon of war since Roman times. The only thinkg we do diferently is believe it all happened lately.
No one wants good news but the truth is the murder rate has declined steadily since the Victoorian era. All you have to do is look at the statistics.
