Android is simply more of an open platform, Apple is closed off to everyone unless you pay to play.
Amethyst is the most feature rich client. There are other good clients like Olas (new and buggy). Primal and Damus are good for new people and ease of use, but are missing some good features imo.
Nostrudel.ninja on a desktop or laptop, is great, tons of features.
Rabbit.syusui.net/#/ on desktop, is a free Nostr Deck client that is cool
