I've done it again. Did this when windows 10 was relatively new, too.
While it seems to cause more pain that it's worth, if I buy a used laptop with a windows partition I tend to try to update it and keep it around 'just in case i need it'. I never do.
I bought a laptop with windows 11 and added a 2nd ssd for linux. When I was installing linue, I missed the fact that I selected the drive with windows on it and wiped out the windows installation.
Let's see if I can recover it. Stay tuned.
