new birds in the vacant lot behind my building!!!
a little bigger than sparrows I think, hopping around perching on dead goldenrod/sapling stems close to the ground, seemingly eating seeds.
light brown, faces kind of reminded me of house sparrows?, dark wing-tips with bright yellow/white markings, stripes near the top and smaller markings towards the bottom.
