I some western Love Live fans got pissed that one of the seiyuus got married. One of them even called her a whore. Being mad that a grown woman is getting married is some straight up loser behavior, especially a woman you have never personally met and lives on the other side of the world lol. It got so bad that even Japanese fans were questioning what was wrong with them.
