Jung write a short book called "Synchronicity" where he coined the term and gave examples. You can find an audiobook on YouTube.
Most people in the new age circles try to associate it with things like angel numbers, or numerology codes that are messages from the universe. But I think looking Synchronicity only in those terms cheapens the idea and honestly isn't very useful.
I could see the number 333 seventy times in a day, but unless that number in particular already had some very specific, special meaning for my life, I think there's no reason to assume that the universe is sending messages.
For Jung, a synchronistic event was a moment of alignment between the inner processes of the soul, and the outer world, that would assist a person's personal growth or healing. Essentially, in short, a miracle.
It is a moment of an inner alchemical transformation that (operating on the principle of "as above, so below. As within, so without") causes an outer transformation in the world. Or, perhaps sometimes it is vice versa 🤔
But the point is that the symbol or event in question must be meaningful to the individual in question. Not a universal meaning. That's why looking up the meaning of angel numbers, or 369, or universal dream interpretations, in my opinion, is not very useful.
It's really a deep idea and if you really read and understand Jung it's amazing some of the ideas you can come to surrounding it.
I've had a few synchronicities myself that I still have no idea how they could have possibly happened.
