Or I'll have something on my phone to look at/listen to in there as a sort of quick shot of coping mechanism until I get home.
I'll always plan something for afterwards to be alone and do my thing/absolutely nothing, either immediately after getting home or the whole day after as well.
When the situation can't be avoided, it's the time after it that matters.
