The present riots in the UK, which I'm only just catching up with, are a truly horrific indicator of how close ANY Western nation is right now to repeating history, mimicking the end of the Weimar Republic. What is happening in Hull, Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester, and so forth could just as easily happen in the United States. Unity is the only way we can combat this hate-fueled chaos, which significantly sinks my heart.
