I have both the Logitech Combo Touch and the Magic Keyboard. Both are excellent in different ways.
At a desk a stand with any Bluetooth keyboard/mouse/trackpad will work.
New iPad models likely coming in March, might be good to wait if you can. An M1 or better gives you more memory and multitasking. Apple Refurbs come with same warranty as new.
