IMO, the death of the show was in 2020, when they wouldn't stop making the reviewing/deconstructing of corporate news the centerpiece of the show, even when it was obvious what a narrow role that stuff plays now.
All the rest of it is downstream from that terrible decision (or inability to see past that breakpoint).
The premise of the show has become irrelevant.
