I yearn for a gentle, soft life. I’ve already walked through hell and learned its lessons. Now, I long for quiet evenings, warm as wool and sweet as chocolate, filled with laughter and shared tears alongside those who love me effortlessly. I want to breathe the air of places I once dreamed of, making memories in peace. My struggles have shaped me, both beautifully and painfully, and for that, I’m grateful…but I want my days to overflow with love and gentleness. I want to flow freely, without worry. Some days I’m calm like water; other days, fierce like lava. Both are true, both are me, and every version of me deserves respect and safety.

I’d rather have deep friendships with a few than shallow connections with many. I want to be a safe harbor, the person others turn to when they need it most…the person I once needed. There’s a softness in me now that wasn’t always there. It grew from the coldest, hardest places, and that softness has become my greatest strength. To remain unbroken by the very things meant to destroy me, that’s what I’m most proud of.

My light shines freely now, and I share it with those around me. Together, we all shine brighter.
