The good news is that we’re broadcasting your posts to other public relays, so as long as one or more of those writes are successful, you’ll have redundant storage. We’re actually solely relying on public relays to aggregate the data for this filter relay, so it’s pulling from them. (The paid relay does support its own writes, just like many paid relays). There is some risk that our write is unsuccessful if we’re the only relay broadcasting your messages publicly and we’re currently brainstorming how we can add additional redundancy in our architecture to avoid this. You should know immediately if a write is unsuccessful in your client though, and can try again. I think ideally, this broadcast pattern is replicated in other relays (we may run others, as well), to minimize these risks.
