The 404 Media (npub1psa…j5uh) article didn't mention, but the subsequent podcast about it (https://www.404media.co/the-404-media-podcast/) did, that you can opt out of (some of) the facial recognition sites. Fortunately, someone wrote up instructions for how to do that: https://www.pocket-lint.com/how-to-remove-your-photos-from-face-recognition-sites/. I encourage you to do this, but keep reading the thread because there is one caution I want to give about this opt-out process.
