I thought I still had a few months to go, but checked my old work permit (Brazil loves bureaucracy) and realized my 1st paid programming job (an internship) started on March 1st, 1994. So I've been banging on the keyboard "professionally" for 30+ years 😮
Spent my ~7 months there creating desktop data management applications in Superbase. The GUI was just becoming a thing with Windows 3. Played a lot of DooM. Burned money calling BBSs. Tried to get the shop to adopt Visual Basic unsuccessfully.
