The recognition of the words as a form of insult is subjective. They are just sounds, or scribbles on paper. Not objective insults or complimentary in any way.

I am not insulted by being called cis. Unless I suspect the person calling me that is attempting to be insulting. My perceived intent is subjective.

"Transwomen" vs "trans women" is a new on for me, and I want to be careful, so I am asking. Language evolves. I must change with it.
