The final stage of simulacrum is called "Pure simulacrum," and is the point at which the simulacrum completely detaches from reality and has no connection to that which it symbolises. In a post-modern society you can view a womens breasts as anartificial simulacrum, completely disconnected from the context that they exist in within reality (The chest of a real woman who you see in real life.)
